SMPS Upstate Bylaws

The SMPS Upstate NY Chapter Bylaws provide the governing framework for our Chapter, including membership and voting rights, the composition and responsibilities of the Board of Directors, officer terms and succession, nominations and elections, committees, financial oversight, Chapter meetings, and procedures for future amendments.

In September 2026, SMPS Upstate NY members approved updated Chapter Bylaws as part of a Society-wide initiative to align chapters with the governance standards established by the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS).

The updated bylaws help ensure that SMPS Upstate NY's  governance practices remain consistent with SMPS while providing a clear framework for the Chapter's leadership, operations, accountability, and continued growth.
